The Run~ Overiding past memories

My last race was in 2018 (I think) I had technical difficulties in that race and was one of the last people to finish as I had to walk most of it. It has stayed as a memory... a feeling of failure and I decided I had to over ride that memory. For two months despite facing resistance from my body and dealing with past injuries, I ran 3 times a week. It's not easy to keep pushing forward when faced with challenges, but I did it anyway. My commitment to improving myself and pushing my limits at level 47 is still an important goal for me.

Despite the setbacks and sprained ankles I've endured over the years, I refuse to let them hold me back. Instead, I used them as fuel to drive me forward and prove to myself that I am capable of achieving my goals.

I didn't let fear of failure or past experiences define my limits. Instead, I chose to rewrite my story and create a new memory—one of perseverance, resilience, and accomplishment.

Remember, it's not just about the distance you cover in the race of life; it's about the journey you took to get there and the strength you found along the way. We can prove most importantly to ourselves, that with dedication and perseverance, we can overcome any obstacle that stands in our way. I finished 177/273 in the group 46.42min 6.6km 102/187 in my age group. I will take this as a win!
