BOX BREATHING





Box breathing, is a technique to calm the nervous system, and decrease stress in the body.


Begin with a 4 count breath, inhale breath, hold for a count of 4, exhale for 4 counts and hold at the end for 4 counts, before beginning another round.


If you find the 4 count is too much to start reduce for 2-3 seconds and practise working your way up.
