There are sooooo many power bowls or also known as glory bowl recipes, but sometimes some inspiration is needed.
Base:
Rice
Quinoa
Barley
Couscous
Protein options:
Fish
Chicken
My fav crispy tofu. Chop the tofu in small pieces and roll in nutritional yeast. Bake in air fryer for 10-12 min.
Toppings:
Roasted or steamed veggies of choice:
Yams, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, edamame, chickpeas, corn, beans, onions, peppers.
Sauces:
Peanut satay, goddess dressing
Or my new fav BBQ sweet honey.
In a pot warm about 3/4cup bbq sauce, 1/4cup soya sauce and 2 tbsp honey. Drizzle over top of completed bowl.
Raw toppings:
Nuts, chopped spinach, cabbage, flax, sesame, sprouts, shaved carrots and many more.
