Who else was raised with the premise that if you're not doing something you're doing nothing? Life now leads us to believe that we need to be busy and keep moving constantly. Why do we find it so difficult to sit still, to be in silence with no movement? Taking the time to let our body just be still, our mind be still, and let thoughts come and go organically, rather than always pushing things aside and trying to distract ourselves. We need to as a society go back to daydreaming, staring into space, letting our minds just be free from social media distractions and just listen to sounds, feel the temperature of the air around us and simply BE. Try to carve out 15 min each day sitting. Sit with no judgement on our thoughts. Simply let the body just BE.
